Tell us about yourself Live in Sunbury, songwriter, play guitar in Stonetrain and The Rambling Seeds. Part time bus driver at Sunbury special school. Into old cars and motorbikes and steam trains and animals (old and young).
Tell us all about your show I have no concepts of genres, I’ll delve into everything from folk, blues, country, metal, rock, punk and maybe a little jazz and Ska. Going forward I’d like to play more independent unsigned artists, mainly local and also local Sunbury music and showcase the talent we have in our community. If I like it I play it regardless of what category it’s put in.
What’s your all-time favourite album? Impossible let’s go with Powerage AC/DC
Do you play a musical instrument? Play guitar, mainly rhythm. I love songwriting and writing riffs more than doing leads, Malcolm Young is my guitar hero. I hack away on the banjo and would love to play more and better. Would love to learn piano and as always get better on guitar.
What’s your favourite movie or TV show? Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. TV at the moment…Letterkenny.
What’s your advice to those thinking of volunteering at Sunbury Radio? Just do it, the place is so welcoming and friendly. Hardest step is the first and they have made it so easy, and already I feel part of the community.
